Together with Partners for the Americas, 6^thGrain will provide digital tools to support food production and crop management in the southern agricultural oases of Tunisia. Tools that 6^th Grain will provide to the project includes crop mapping and classification of crops in the region, crop suitability modeling for the oases, and disease pressure risk models for crops being cultivated. We will also support the Partners team on the ground with tools through which they can determine the farmer’s past agricultural productivity and likelihood of repaying agricultural loans and other support provided by the project. We anticipate the project will begin in February 2025.
